4th Of July Boat Parade
Comfort Lakes Boat Parade
Tuesday, July 4th at 2:00
Boat Parade starts at 2:00 PM: Line up at 1:45 near the public landing.
Please Register Early: Now through July 3: Virtual registration only! • Complete the attached release of liability and registration form. • Email completed form to Cary Miller: carykmiller@msn.com. You may also drop off your waiver to Cary: 7686 Hillside Court (off W Comfort Dr) (608) 738-3813 • Cary will assign you a boat number once he has your waiver.
Attach a black number at least 8” high and 1” thick to the left front side of your boat (we will not provide numbers this year). If you print your number, put it inside a gallon zip bag. Black marker on cardboard works well. Judges need to be able to read your number from shore.
Parade Day Registration (last minute only): Call Cary Miller (608) 738-3813, email in your waiver and he will assign you a boat number.
Decorate your Watercraft: We will award a prize for the top winner and certificates for the top two most creative ideas in each of two categories: Pontoon and Smaller Craft.
Use your imagination and have fun! Bomb Pop Treats: The “Bomb Pop” dock will be at the Northwest side of the lake directly following the parade. Look for the signs.

I fully understand that I am assuming full responsibility for any injury I may incur as a result of my voluntary participation in this event. I understand this is a slow-moving boat parade around the near shoreline of Big Comfort Lake. I agree to stay clear of lily pads so as not to cause harm to this important native plant, and to stay clear of aquatic invasive species, such as Eurasian Water Milfoil, so as not to cause spreading. I am entering the parade at my own risk and agree not to hold its sponsors liable for any injury to myself, my guests, or my watercraft, as a result of my participation in this event. All entered information is to be used solely for the 4th of July Parade and will not be given to anyone for other purposes.
