Comfort Lakes Association
The Comfort Lakes Association is a tax-exempt non-profit organization composed of lakeshore owners, lake access owners and other friends of Little and Big Comfort Lakes. We are committed to maintaining the clean water and beauty of our lakes through education and local involvement.
The Comfort Lakes are located in Chisago County, MN off Highway 8 approximately four miles east of Interstate 35. Big Comfort is on the north side of Highway 8 and Little Comfort is on the south side. The lakes vary in size with Big Comfort Lake spanning 219 acres and Little Comfort 36 acres.
The Comfort Lakes are the end point of the Comfort Lake Forest Lake Watershed District hydrologic flow. Several sources of water feed into the lakes, including the Sunrise River, which exits Forest Lake, winding through the city of Wyoming and then into Big Comfort Lake. The Sunrise River exits the north end of Big Comfort.
